What you’ll do:

The Senior Data Analyst and Operations Specialist will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle from data preparation to reporting. This includes adopting a process-oriented methodology that is based on data governance, transformation, ingestion, storage, access control and reporting. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, and has prior experience in managing data, while understanding data origination, purpose, and application. The role will be integral in ensuring we capture the data required for projects and products, accessing the data and verifying accuracy, and manipulating the data to transform it into standardized data stores.

  • Work with our vendor partners and clients to request, document, and validate incoming data (Prescription/Rx data, claims data, Payor data, target files, etc.) leveraging a variety of applications and tools (SQL, Domo, Incorta, MS Access & Excel, etc.)
  • Create and manage data-centric documentation: File Interface Agreements (FIA), business and functional requirements, and data flow diagrams
  • Help develop a reusable framework and identify tools that can improve data agility and collaboration
  • Monitor production operations of multiple Products as it relates to data ingestion and processing
  • Provide operational and systems support to Product Managers: help investigate data issues, provide ad hoc counts and offer solutions, where appropriate
  • Help bridge the gap in data requirements between business owners and SQL Server developers
  • Identify and help address data and operational process problems
  • Help QA data transformation procedures and reports to insure accuracy
  • Develop internal and external dashboards that facilitate production operations

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, statistics, mathematics or similar field is required
  • Minimum 5 years of ETL, data analysis, database development and operations experience is required
  • Proficient with SQL, especially SQL Server Management is preferred
  • Experience with production operations monitoring for data related processes
  • Experience with writing data-specific documentation, specifically FIAs and data flow diagrams
  • Business and/or systems analysis experience is preferred
